fyi - hurricane fundraisers

Brickskeller and R.F.D. Red Cross Fundraiser
Through Sept. 30, 5 percent of all draft beer sales at the Brickskeller and R.F.D. will be donated to the Red Cross, and the owners will match those totals.

If you're going to be drinking anyway a portion of your funds might as well go to the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Efforts...for those of you who may not know, RFD is in Chinatown and Brickskellar is in Dupont...

That's awesome.
You are right, people are still out there drinking (people usually drink and 'make woopee' more in times of crisis) so some money may as well go to help those affected by this.

'make woopee' - that's awesome in and of itself...I think I need a copy of that song "Making Whoopee" now...another season, another reason for makin' whoopee...

OH! HAHAHAHAHA!! I love that movie...you are seriously amusing me this morning...my favorite scene, of course, is when they roll the footage of Ben Affleck calling out the New Kids on the Block's names while screwing the 15 yr old in "a very uncomfortable place" (not the back of a VW)...

yay for fun mornings!!
i just recently saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and I love how lots of characters show up, and everyone spoofs themselves. The "The Good Will Hunting 2:Hunting Season" part is just incredible.

it's an interesting look at KS's "softer side" 'a la Sears, but hey, George Carlin is in it...you can't go wrong with George Carlin...
